Join us on Saturday, August 10th for the City of Burlington’s Heritage Week event in North Burlington. We will explore the history of Concession 2, Lot 7 and its adjoining lots, 6 and 8. This is the past location of the Dakota Mill and the Gore/Hamilton/Canada Powder Company.
Please note: The 9:30 a.m. talk is full! If you are interested, there will be a second talk at 11:30 a.m. if there is enough interest. Please register as soon as possible and you will be notified if it is a go.

There will be a PowerPoint presentation and historical displays for viewing. For those interested, there will be a walk to the location of the ruins of the Dakota Mill given by Cedar Springs members (weather permitting). This area is celebrating their 100th anniversary.
We are excited to have descendants of some of the original and early settlers joining us.
Registration is required. Location instructions will be provided on registration.
A signed waiver may be required for the walk and will be available at the event. Proper footwear and clothing are recommended.
